Abstract：With the continuous development of science and technology and the rapid rise of social economy in China, people's demand for various substances in life is becoming more and more stringent, and economic adequacy makes people pay more attention to their emotional needs when using some products than before.Nowadays, there are more and more ways of product design. When designing any product, we need to consider many factors, which are divided into two parts: sensibility and rationality. This design concept, which can meet the emotional needs of human beings in practice, has become the basic idea of product design at present.For some special groups in the society, the emotional and rational factors that need to be taken into account when designing products for them are more complex than ordinary people, and this product design method based on the combination of emotional and rational is very important for special groups. This paper studies the perceptual and rational thinking in product design of special population.
